I bought Motorola Xoom after one week of launch. Of course, I was excited and decided to post cool stuff on my personal blog, but wanted to take screenshot of screen. I was looking for perfect solution, but there isn’t one. So, I decided to make tutorial on it, so it will be easy for you to understand and take screenshot.
First step: USB Debugging
First of all you need to put your Motorola Xoom on USB debugging Mode. For that redirect your motorola xoom to
Settings>>Application>>Development (Take a look at screen shot)
Click on small box of USB debugging. You will see notification in notification area of Motorola Xoom that it is enabled.
Second Step: Installing Require Software.
Once you enable USB debugging, Install following items on your computer according to your computer operating system. You need to install three items.
1. Install Java JDK. (Click Here to Download)
2. Install Android SDK. (Click Here to download)
3. Install Motorola Hardware. (Click Here to Download) – Need to make account. It is free!
Third Step: Taking Screenshot
Now, it’s time to take screenshot of motorola xoom. But for that you need to open ddms.bat file. It will be in
C:\Program Files\Android\android-sdk\tools
Double click it and it will open one window. Refer to Image.
Click on Device >> Screen Capture. Take screen shot and refresh every time you go to new screen to take screenshot.

So… you can only take screenshots through the compturer?
For now, yes. If you have galaxy tab, then you can take it from status bar.
